REMAIN ("we") is built to handle as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what information the REMAIN iOS app and this website handle, where it is stored, and how it is used. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information we handle
REMAIN has no accounts and sends no personal data to our servers. Everything the app works with is stored only on your device.
- Countdowns, routine and habit check-ins, your life profile (birthday, life expectancy, people), reminder rules, widget theme and other app settings
- Action prescription history and weekly report totals (calculated on the device only)
- Action prescriptions are generated by the Apple Intelligence on-device model or from a list built into the app. Nothing you enter leaves your device
How information is used
Data stored on your device is used only to make the app work.
- Calculating time left, countdowns, widgets, routine streaks and scheduling local notifications
- We do not use it for advertising, sell it to third parties, or collect usage analytics
Third-party services
REMAIN uses no analytics or advertising SDKs. Only two things touch an outside service.
Apple StoreKit · Resend
REMAIN Pro purchases, subscription management and restores are handled by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). We never receive your card details, and Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's privacy policy. If you send the support form on this website, your email address and message are delivered to our support inbox through the email service Resend and used only to reply to you.
Storage and security
All data lives on your iPhone.
- App data is kept in the iOS app group container shared by the app and its widgets
- It is protected by iOS device encryption
- We store no personal data on external servers or cloud services, and the app does not sync with iCloud
Children's privacy
REMAIN is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact remain.timeleft.app@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you live in the European Economic Area you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. Because your data lives only on your device, most of them can be exercised directly in the app.
Everything is shown in the app itself.
Countdowns, routines and your life profile can be edited in the app.
Use 'Reset all data' in Settings or delete the app to remove everything.
Your data is stored only on your device. We keep no copy.
Your rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
This policy describes everything we handle. No personal information is stored on our servers.
Delete the app or reset data in Settings at any time.
We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
