Please read these Terms before using the App.

• Installing or using the App means you accept these Terms
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• You confirm you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms

REMAIN is a time-awareness app that shows you what's left and helps you take small actions. Its main features are:

As a user you agree to the following.

• You are responsible for the security of your device and Apple account
• You use the App only for lawful, personal purposes
• You do not reverse engineer, modify, redistribute the App or bypass its protections

The App and its design, text, code and images belong to us and are protected by applicable law.

• All rights in the App remain with us
• The REMAIN name and logo are our trademarks
• You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without permission

The App is free to download and can be used without paying. The free tier includes time left, action prescriptions, the evening routine, 4 basic widgets, 1 countdown with its Home Screen widget, and 1 time reminder. Additional features are offered through the optional in-app purchase REMAIN Pro.

• Pro includes: unlimited countdowns and span dot grids, 3 Pro widgets (countdown, Lock Screen, combined), widget themes, life in weeks and your people, weekly report history, share cards without a watermark, 4 streak freezes per month, and unlimited time reminders
• Plans: weekly subscription, yearly subscription, or lifetime access (one-time purchase). Prices are shown in your local currency on the App Store purchase screen and may vary by country and over time
• The yearly subscription may include a 7-day free trial for eligible users. Eligibility and the price charged after the trial are shown on the purchase screen, and the trial starts only when you confirm the purchase with Apple
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged to your Apple account within 24 hours before the period ends
• You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions on your iPhone. After canceling, Pro stays active until the end of the current period
• If you change devices or reinstall the App, use 'Restore Purchases' under Settings > REMAIN Pro to recover your access
• Payments are processed by the Apple App Store under Apple's terms. We never receive your payment details
• Refunds are decided by Apple under Apple's refund policy. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com
• We may change what Pro includes and what it costs. Changes do not apply retroactively to periods you have already paid for

The App is provided "as is".

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

• Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the previous 12 months
• We are not liable for loss of data, profits or opportunities
• We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our control

These Terms remain in effect until ended by you or by us.

• You can stop using the App anytime by deleting it. An active subscription must be canceled separately
• We may restrict or end your access if you violate these Terms
• On termination your right to use the App ends immediately. Data left on your device can be deleted by you

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

If something goes wrong, contact us first. Most issues can be sorted out by talking.

• If we cannot resolve it together, the dispute may be referred to mediation
• To the extent permitted by law, disputes are resolved individually and not as class actions

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the App or by updating this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These provisions govern how the Terms are read and applied.

• If any provision is found invalid, the rest remain in effect
• Not enforcing a right does not mean we waive it
• These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us
